West Seattle Wild is a community built around exploration, photography, and local wildlife.
From the tide pools of Constellation Park to the salmon runs of Longfellow Creek and the forests of Schmitz Preserve, we gather to discover the natural side of West Seattle.
Our walks are free, beginner-friendly, and open to anyone with curiosity. Bring a camera, binoculars, or just yourself.

LONGFELLOW CREEK
Follow the salmon trail through one of West Seattle’s hidden urban waterways. Longfellow Creek offers year-round wildlife opportunities including birds, insects, native plants, and seasonal salmon runs.
CONSTELLATION Park
From sea stars and anemones to shorebirds and marine life, Constellation Park provides some of the most accessible tide pooling opportunities in Seattle.
